Работать в среде PowerPoint удобно и полезно в связи с тем, что эта программа всегда под рукой. Не требуется интернет-соединения. Как правило, у вас уже имеется определённый опыт работы с этой программе презентаций. Awwapp is one of the best web-based whiteboard application available with collaboration feature. It lets you draw sketches and collaborate with others on your whiteboard, using your PC, tablet or Smartphone. It lets you focus more on the sketch or discussion. It is effective with its limited features such as color of pencil (you can choose 8 different colors), size of pencil (you can use 5 different sizes), a text tool and an eraser. It has an option for inserting images into the whiteboard. You can download, share the sketch or discussion, and it also has an option for inviting others to join the board. It does not allow you to save boards, or do voice chat in the free version, but you can come over this limitation by a membership. No registration is required for using this online whiteboard.

FlockDraw is one of the best online collaborative Whiteboard applications. You can start a session by creating a room, and invite others to work together. Unlimited users can join a room, but 10 can draw at once. You can invite others by sharing the link, or they can join by entering the room name. The interface is quite simple, and there are various features available for sketching: colors, text, shapes, eraser, etc. It has a live chat box, which can be used by collaborators to discuss in real-time. It has a gallery option where you can publish your drawings, so that other users can give their feedback. You can also save the sessions online. No registration is required for using this whiteboard.

AWW App

Launched and run directly in your web browser, Aww App is a virtual whiteboard for on-the-go and accessing the virtual whiteboard is as simple as directing your browser to the AwwApp.com webpage. Logging in allows you to privatize the board so you can invite others to participate. The free model allows for access to the online whiteboard, and all participants you invite can freely draw and add – but limits your tools to basic ones and doesn’t allow for board saving beyond image snapshots. The AwwApp whiteboard has a basic and easy to use free version with the option to upgrade to a more robust paid plan or even custom on-premises solution makes for a great contender for both personal and large scale team use.

• The board itself is a white background, of course, but with a dot grid to aid in drawing and lining up text, this is certainly a nice extra touch.
• An undo button makes removing your mistakes easy, a delete button will wipe the entire board, but my favorite tool is the “swipe eraser” which allows you to remove a specific area by dragging a selection tool, much like using an eraser on a physical whiteboard.
• The whiteboard experience felt intuitive and easy, testing on both a desktop and iPhone 6 the drawing felt natural, responsive and precise – I did not notice any missing spots in my lines or any lack of coordination between my inputs and the results on screen. Even on mobile drawing with just a finger, the whiteboard app kept up with my quick inputs.

Иногда все функции, которые нужны учителю на уроке, — это возможность написать некоторые слова, нарисовать схему или описать алгоритм, продемонстрировать решение задачи. В таком случае, нужна самая обыкновенная виртуальная доска, которая не требовала бы регистрации, оплаты и каких-то сложных схем.

Преимущества сервиса в том, что: 

• не нужно ничего скачивать, достаточно зайти из браузера на сайт и начать работу;
• работать можно как с компьютера, так и со смартфона;

Из минусов стоит отметить только то, что весь интерфейс на английском языке, а также отсутствие бесплатной версии. Но цены доступны, поэтому это не должно вас напугать. 

«Classroomscreen»

Есть бесплатный формат использования, поэтому вы можете легко протестировать функционал. Удобны будут для учителей:

• функция загрузки и закрепления изображения на рабочем поле;
• функция написания текстовых инструкций к примерам или загруженным изображениям; 
• выбор языка;
• функция рисования на доске;
• возможность установить время для решения конкретного примера (например, в ходе своеобразного теста или экзамена на уроке); 
• цветовые сигналы (в ходе работы можно выбирать определенные цвета на «светофоре-сигнале»: красный выбирает ученик, если ему нужна помощь; зеленый выбирает учитель, который говорит о том, что ученики должны приступать к решению задачи). 

Пользоваться доской удобно, так как за нее не нужно платить, да и функционал довольно обширный.
